Indian Foreign Service

Appointment is made in Junior Times Scale on probation for a period of at least two years, which may be extended, if required. Successful candidates are required to undergo training in India for approximately twelve months. Thereafter, they may be posted as Third Secretaries in Indian Missions abroad to pursue training in Compulsory Foreign Language. During their period of training the Officer Trainees are required to pass one or more departmental examinations before they become eligible for confirmation in Service.

The Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) (भारतीय रक्षा लेखा सेवा) is a service to audit defence accounts. IDAS officers are group A Defence civilian officers under the Ministry of Defence. The Defence Accounts department serves the three Services - DRDO, Border Road Organisation, Ordinance factories and other inter-services organisations.

Assistant Commandant in CAPF

Indian Ordnance Factories Service - Group A

Selected candidates are appointed on probation for a period of 2 years. The period of probation may be reduced or extended by the Government on the recommendation of Director General, Factories / Chairman Ordnance Factory Board.
